The section of the bridge over the Rambla de Béjar, which was damaged last October during the floods in the Puerta Lumbreras and Lorca areas, re-opened to traffic this morning.
The works to replace three of the eight pillars and repair the other five has cost 6,485,000 euros.
Some 20,000 vehicles use this section of the A7 daily.
The bridge of the AP-7 near Vera, Almeria, also damaged in the flooding, should re-open soon.
