The only good new for domestic customers hit by the 3% rise in electricity prices this month is that the Government has brought an end to estimated bills from April this year.
The move is a result of the avalanche of complaints provoked by over estimated bills.
From April electricity bills will be bi-monthly and will reflect the actual reading on the meter.
