The Partido Popular brought in the New Year with a five kilometre fun run in fancy dress around the town centre on the last day of 2012.
The PP aim to make the fun run, “San Silvestre” a regular event and hope to encourage more people to take part next year.
All five runners were dressed as Santa Claus and were applauded by residents as they ran around the streets.
The Partido Popular wish residents a “better year than 2012.”
