UNESCO has declared today, October 5, the International Day of the Teacher, a date celebrated in the educational community since 1994.
This year the theme of the day, “Support Your Teachers Now,” is particularly relevant as all schools in Calasparra are being affected by cuts and economies which, amongst other measures, reduce cover for absence of teaching staff.
