Aemet, the Met Office, warns of dangerously high temperatures today, Wednesday August 19, in some areas of the Murcia region but Calasparra should escape the extreme heat.
Temperatures in Calasparra and the North West area of the region will probably hover around the high 30ś this afternoon while some other areas of the region are on Orange alert for temperatures in the 40’s.
According to AEMET today should be the last day of the current heatwave with temperatures tomorrow falling by five or six degrees with a slight possibility of storms in Calasparra.
