The Met Office, AEMET, has issued a Yellow Weather Warning for the North West region of Murcia, that includes Calasparra, for today Saturday August 15, for torrential rain and storms.
The warning runs from 2pm to 10pm for up to 25 ml of rain per square metre per hour and storms with strong winds and hail.
AEMET warns that the Yellow Warning Level indicates intense storms that may be extremely severe in some areas.
