Calasparra will have a visibility of 98 perent for the solar eclipse on August 12 and the Local Security Committee are meeting to prepare the recommenations and indications for this major astronomic event.
According to Calasparra Town Hall, Calasparra will be a perfect place to view the eclipse without moving far from your home.
The Mayoress of Calasparra, Teresa Garcia, presided over the Committee and attending were the Head of local Citizen Security, Juan Bernal, and of Promotion of Tourism, Juan José López; the advisor of the Government Delegate of the region, José Manuel Abellán; representatives of the Guardia Civil, the Local Police and Protection Civil as well as the specialist in Tourism.
In a few days the Committee will publish their recommendations and indications to ensure the event passes with normality and safety.
