More tiny puppies have been abandoned in Calasparra!!
Every spring/summer there are people in Calasparra who allow their dogs to get pregnant, because for them it is not a problem, they simply chuck the puppies out on any stretch of wasteland to die.
Luckily, we have the magnificent Dogs Rescue Voluntary Association in Calasparra to take responsibility for these heartless abandons.
Firstly, it is against the law to allow your dog to breed unless you have a breeding licence.
Secondly, if you have a female dog it is your resposibility to operate her do she does not breed. This is the law.
Here is a personal appeal from Nexonr. If you see a pregnant dog report it to SEPRONA, part of the Guardia Civil that is responsible for animal welfare, and maybe you can save another litter being abandoned.
Dogs Rescue have assumed the responsibility for these three delightful puppies butthey need help. The Association is completely dependant on donations to feed, care for and pay medical bills for their charges.
The puppies, Juanito, Jorgito, and Jaimito, are just six weeks old and when found were full of fleas and ticks. They needed their injections and a period of observation at the vets. All this costs money!!
