We are already getting a breath of Chrtistmas in Calasparra with the traditional «Zambomba» in the Plaza de la Corredera on Sunday December 7 at 7pm.
The «Zambomba de Pascua» is played on traditional instruments, roughly translated as «hand drums, and «Pascua» is used in Spain to refer to the big religious fiestas such as Christmas and Easter.
The Rociero Choir of Calasparra and the Rociero Choir of Caravaca will join together to fill the Plaza with joy, song and dance, performing the popular and Flamenco «villancicos» (Christmas songs).
