Thousands Of people all over Europe took part in the Big Jump for rivers without contamination organized annually by the European Rivers Network (ERN).
Adults and children alike jumped into the local rivers to underline the importance of keeping of our rivers clean.
Ecological groups remind us that 2015 is the date set by the European Union for the full recuperation of our rivers: “making swimming in the waters of our local rivers a reality.”
In Murcia Ecologists in Action organized the Big Jump into the River Segura in Cieza. Some 50 participants bathed in the river at the Presa beach to “reclaim a live river.”
