Pupils from the Esperanza Primary School have won a 1000 euros prize in their cateGory of a regional competition, «The Junior Recyclers.»
The school won the prize after months of numerous and different initiatives including drawing recycling bins transformed into monsters eating glass;composing a song for their videoclip; launching a campaign on recycling glass at the Friday market; interviews on local television; posters around the school and recycling a large quantity of glass in a recycling bin at the school.
They already won a 100 euros prize in October in the first phase of the competititon for their initiative «We Already Recycle. Do You?»
The prize money will buy books for the school library and school text books.
