Calasparra famously misses out on most of the rainfall predicted for the North West Murcia, the most common phrase heard here being: «It never rains in Calasparra.»
However, the Met Office has issued a warning for today, Wednesday, and Calasparra, Caravaca, Bullas and Moratalla are identified as areas with cloudy skies, occasional showers possibly accompanied by thunder and lightening.
A national drop in temperatures is also affecting Calasparra with a high of 27 centigrade predicted.
