More than 250 young footballers competed for the Calasparra Cup of Grassroots Football, held in the Athletics Ground over the weekend.
One of the most important national and international tournaments held in Spain, the final was won by Real Madrid CF on penalties after a 4-4 draw with Barcelona CF.
The Mayoress of Calasparra, Yeresa Garcia, with local councillors from the Department of Sport and the regional Deputy, Juan Andres Torres, presented the trophies.
