What a relief today!! Cool breezes with temperatures six to eight degrees lower than yesterday instead of the hot air that raised temperatures in the region to 41C.
The cooler temperatures are due to a small weather front bringing «more normal» temperatures for the time of year, according to the Met Office.
However, the relief will be brief as a short spring and long summer is predicted with the mercury rising gradually to five or six degrees above the the average for the time of year.
It´s taking to be a hot one, folks!!! Please remember to take the normal precautions to avoid sunstroke.
Do not work outside in the heat of the day, between 2pm and 6pm in Calasparra.
Avoid walking or taking exercie in the heat of the day.
Wear sunglasses, a hat, loose clothing and use sunscreen.
Eat light meals and avoid alcohol during the day.
