More than 300 athletes, local and from all over the region, took part in the 14 kilometre hike and 14 kilometre running race organised by Blade Runners under the title of VII Vuelta al Santuario (Run Around the Sanctuary) last Sunday.
Some 148 hikers took part in the 14k «Senderismo» event and 173 athletes took part in the 14k competitive run around the same course which started in the Gran Via, Calasparra.
At midday races for junior competitors were held in the town centre.
