María Esperanza Ruiz Martínez, chef and co-owner of the Restaurant Centro in Calasparra received the «Recognition 2023» award this weekend from the DOP Arroz Calasparra for her 43 years as an ambassaor for Calasparra rice.
She is the chef as well as running her own restaurant and is a speaker and professor for the Touristic Qualification Centre in the Murcia region.
The ceremony took place at the Rice Grower´s Fountain with the participation of the Rondalla Cultural Music and Dance group.
