Calasparra will mark Senior Citizens´Day with activities in the streets and the launch of a campaign, «Being Older is the Best,» with a series of special activities for senior citizens.
The programme is the initiative of Calasparra Town Hall with the colaboration of the Red Cross Department of the Elderly.
Today, Thursday, from 6pm in the Plaza de la Corredera the Town Hall and the Red Cross have organized a series of activities including reading a manifesto and a performance by the Rondalla Traditional Music and Dance Group.
At the same time there will be a press conference announcing the Senior Citizens programme with details of the activities.
