The MABS Party Night at the Alandalus on Saturday raised 600 euros for the charity.
A small but enthusiastic group turned up in good weather (for a change) to raise this total through ticket sales, the raffle and personal donations. Name the Monkey, a new fund raising venture, was particularly successful and added 40 euros to the pot.
A variety of music gave the partygoers the chance to show their moves and join in with party anthems such as the Macarena, Sweet Caroline and It’s Raining Men.
The music finally finished shortly after midnight and it was time to remind everyone of the next party event in aid of Dogs Rescue on Saturday, July 1 at the Alandalus with live entertainment. Details following soon.
