Every May the statue of Our Lady of Hope is brought from the Sanctuary in a pilgrimage to Calasparra where masses and religious events are held and floral tributes are made by all the different associations, groups and individuals in Calasparra.
This is the full programme of religious events and processions;
(All masses etc are held in St Peter´s Church unless otherwise specified. The statue of Our Lady of Hope is present in all open air masses).

12 midday Bell ringing and rockets to mark the arrival of the procession from the Sanctuary

3.30pm and 4.15pm Free buses from the door of the Pepon Bar (now a Kebab House) to the Sanctuary
5pm Procession with the statue leaves the Sanctuary
7pm Rondalla traditional dance group performs at the gates of the Caverina
8pm Meeting of the statues of the local patron saints with the statue of Our Lady of Hope in the Caverina football ground
Procession to the Merced Church and the Rociero Choir performs and onto St Peter´s Church. Fireworks.
