There were 140 new cases of Coronavirus diagnosed in the Over 60´s group in the Murcia region over the 24 hours ending at midnight on Wednesday, according to the regional Health Authority statistics released today.
This number of new cases is over double the statistic published for Monday August 15, although the discrepancy could be due to under reporting and/or less testing as Monday was a national fiesta.
Sadly, three people have died from the virus since Monday and the number of patients in intensive care remains at 12. However, hospitalizations have dropped slightly from 212 on Monday to 203.
