The prediction that the seventh wave of the Coronavirus would be over rapidly appears to be confirmed by statistics issued by the regional Health Authority today.
There were more than 50% less new cases diagnosed in the 24 hours ending at midnight on Monday August 15 compared to last Wednesday and 30 less in patients.
However, it is not all good news as eight people have died from the virus since statistics were published last Wednesday.
