The residents of the Virgen de la Esperanza Home for the Elderly in Calasparra spent a pleasant morning at the Municipal Swimming Pool cooling off during the extremely high temperatures.
The activity was coordinated by the staff and the local authority department responsible for the Centre. Personel from the Centre and lifeguards were present at all times to ensure the safety of the residents. Volunteers from the Civil Protection provided the transport.
Next Friday the outing to the pool will be repeated.
