Six square kilometres of open scrubland was burned in Moratalla yesterday afternoon.
At 1.57 pm the 112 Emergency Services received a call to report a fire in open countryside in Moratalla. Fire fighters attended the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze.
Readers are reminded there is a total ban on any kind of fire outside at the moment thus if you see any sign of smoke or fire do not hesitate to call the 112 emergency services.
