Recycling made easy is the aim of the mobile recycling unit which began its “tour” of Calasparra yesterday, February 13.
Residents can dispose of all their small and medium sized rubbish items in the mobile unit including varnishes, oils, paints, batteries, light bulbs, neon lights, X-rays, mobile telephones, small electrical appliances etc.
When an item is made up of more than one type of material it can be separated into the appropriate categories.
Cardboard should be folded to save space.
The items collected will be transferred to a “selection site where the materials will be separated, recuperated and recycled.
