There were seven active cases of Covid-19 registered in Calaspara over the last seven days, according to statistics published today by the regional Health Authority.
Regionally there were more than 70 less new cases diagnosed in the 24 hours ending at midnght Wednesday* compared to Sunday but hospital admissions are slightly up and, sadly, one person died of the virus.
The number of new cases diagnosed in the region was 204 compared to 198 on Sunday and there are currently eight pateints in intensive care, one more than Sunday.
The total number of deaths from Covid.19 reached 2.339 on Wednesday.
