More than 200 runners and walkers took part in the second “Races around the Rice Fields” on Sunday morning.
The running race around the mirror fields, freshly filled with water and awaiting the annual sowing of Calasparra rice, began and finished at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope.
There was also a 10k walking route.
Some 20% of the inscription fees will go to the local association, Calasparra Se Mueve, which collects funds for cancer research.
