The number of in patients with Covid-19 in the Murcia region has increased by 71 in just 24 hours according to the latest statistics released by the regional Health Authority.
There are now 189 patients in regional hospitals with the virus, compared to 118 yesterday, and of these 11 are in intensive care.
Sadly there was another death during the last counting period bringing the death toll to 2,226.
There were 526 new cases diagnosed in vulnerable groups compared to 526 the day before.
