There were 220 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in the Murcia region in the last 24 hours.
This represents a 51% drop compared to the same day last week.
Some 87 of the new cases affected people classed as vulnerable, that is elderly people and pregnant women.
Hospital admissions are slightly down at 87 but the number of patients in intensive care remains steady at 13.
Sadly, a 92 year old woman has died of the virus.
