The Ministry of Health is warning that emails, with the official logo of the Ministry, offering an additional Covid jabs are a fraud.
Anyone who receives such an email from the “Ministerio de Sanidad” informing them have been selected for an additional Covid vaccination should be aware this is a fraud designed to extract your personal information including bank accounts.
Do not open the file.
Do not download the “fictional file” which ostensibly contains a card with all the details.
Do delete immediately.
The email may seem genuine as it expresses urgency and offers the opportunity to select a type of vaccine. However, the link and the attachment contain a malicious file.
The Office of Internet Security says the email sports the official logo of the Ministry of Health (red and yellow) but, as in many phishing attempts, contains spelling mistakes and/typos; does not address the person by name just email; and the domain is not the official Ministry of Health domain.
If you have opened the file consult an expert immediately in order to delete the virus.
