If you are feeling helpless watching the tragic images from Ukraine and want to help the chemists of Calasparra have launched an appeal for medical supplies and basic materials.
Donations can be made at any of the chemists in Calasparra.
They are appealing for bandages and tape; gauze and dressings; oxygenated water; antiseptics; Betadine; IFAK First Aid Kits; burn dressings; painkillers; antihistamines etc.
Also needed are baby´s feeding bottles; powdered milk; tinned food; underwear; socks and thermals.
The Medical Centre in Calasparra is also appealing for medications and medical supplies that are not being used.
Any medical supplies, painkillers, antihistermines, gastric protectors etc that you have at home after an illness and are still in good condition can be sent to Ukraine where they are badly needed.
Any supplies donated to the Medical Centre will reach those who need them through a group of Ukranian doctors.
