Everyone is invited to help clean up the stunning area around the Quipar Reservoir (also known as Alfonso XIII) on January 29 as part of the Environmental Programme for environmental volunteers in natural spaces.
The activities will include cleaning up the fishing area at the reservoir and collecting and cataloging residues found in the water.
The meeting point is in the Plaza Pérez Piñero at 10.30am on January 29. Work will continue through the morning until 2pm.
Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes and to bring water and a snack.
Everyone will be asked to provide their signatures for insurance purposes.
