The high number of deaths in the Murcia region from Covid complications has continued over the weekend with a total of 20 fatalities.
Eight more people died from the virus in the last 24 hours, five men and three women, ages 66, 71, 72, 74, 74, 82, 85 and 89 years and on Friday 12 people died.
The number of new cases continues to fall although the weekend statistics are always low due to less testing being carried out.
There were 758 cases of Covid-19 confirmed in the last 24 hours, which is 1,478 less than last Saturday.
