The incidence of Covid-19 contagions per head of population in the Murcia region is less than last week which, experts claim, may mean the sixth weave is decelerating.
There were less confirmed cases in the past 24 hours, less active cases of the virus and the hospitalizations are steady, but tragically, five people have died.
The fatalities were five women and one man ages 71, 82, 86, 87, 89 and 91 years.
Some 68% of inpatients in intensive care have not been vaccinated.
