IS THE SIXTH WAVE OF COVID SLOWING DOWN?

Sunday´s statistics rarely give an accurate picture of the Covid-19 situation in the region, however, the rise in cases last week was 20% less than the week before.
Although there has been a 40% rise on the number of contagions, as opposed to a 60% rise, the previous week, the number of inpatients has increased and there were three more fatalities registered in the last 24 hours.
Two men and one woman have died of the virus in the last 24 hours ages 63, 86 and 98 years.
As Sunday´s statistics often give a false picture of the current state of contagions in the region, due to less tests being carried out, we have decided it would be more constructive to compare this Sunday´s statistics with the previous Sunday´s statistics, rather than with Friday´s statistics when the normal number of tests are carried out.
