NO CASES OF COVID-19 IN CALASPARRA

There are currently no active cases of Covid-19 in Calasparra and no new cases were detected during the last seven days.
There was a 10% increase in contagions in the Murcia region over the last week. The increase affect mainly children under 11 years, a group currently unvaccinated, and 17 to 34 year olds.
Some 89% of the region´s population has been vaccinated against Covid-19.
The Murcia region is currently rated as “low risk” of contagion by the virus.
There were nine new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in the region during the last 24 hours.*
The regional Health Authority registers a total of 594 active cases of the virus; 34 are hospitalized; and seven are in intensive care.
Sadly, there was another death due to Covid-19 over the weekend.
* This figure may be artificially low due to less PCR tests being carried out over the weekend.
