The mature goats cheese from local firm, Tio Pepe, has won a first prize in the Best Cheeses of Spain Championship 2021″ in the gift of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fish and Food.
The cheese has won 11 prizes already including the two in the 11 Gourmet Quesos, Campeonato de los Mejores Quesos de España 2021 which took place during the IFEMA 34 Salón Gourmet currently being held in Madrid.
Some 60 judges tasted 800 cheeses presented in 15 categories. The prize giving will be held on October 21,
