Happy New Year as electricity and bottled gas prices are frozen but natural gas and the cost of posting a letter rise by 2,86 % for ordinary mail.
Also frozen are the salaries of public sector workers, pensions and the minimum wage and on the rise are road tolls for motorways by an average of 32% on the 27 motorways under the control of the region.
Natural Gas bills will rise by 0.5% translating to some 0.57 euros extra every quarter. However, the TUR (tarifa de último recurso) used by 20 million electricity customers will be frozen until at least March when the tariff is due to revisión.
