The price of bottled gas will be frozen at the current level of 15 euros for the next three months at least under proposals of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism.
The Ministry also confirms that the prices of other energy sources, gas and electricity, will be frozen: a decision which flies in the face of a recent court decision which found that the Government´s to freeze electricity prices was illegal.
There are 10 million households in Spain which use butane bottled gas and the Price is revised every three months. During 2011 the price of a bottle of gas increased by 3.13% in January, 6% in April, 5.7% i n July and 1.9% in October.
