The UK government has announced that from August 2 double vaccinated passengers entering the UK will no longer need to go into quarantine.
Passengers from Spain will be able to travel with the EU Covid Certificate or have been vaccinated with vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). They will not need to go into quarantine or take the eight day test.
They will be required to take a pre-departure test and take a PCR test on or before the second day after arrival.
Different rules apply for those who have travelled through France.
These measures come into effect from 4am on August 2.
