This week the local Committee of Young People and Adolescents spent the morning pinning up information posters in Calasparra reminding us to keep our town clean and pick up the excrement left by our dogs.
This activity forms part of the civic conciliation and environmental project involving the local youth over the last few months.
The posters, designed by the young people themselves, are an attempt to raise awareness among residents of the importance of keeping the town clean.
“It is very important to listen to our young people and involve them because their concerns affect us all and their point of view helps us to address these issues.
We should be proud of our young people and Calasparra Town Hall continues to support and organize activities which will benefit everyone in the end,” says the Head of the local Education Department, Cristina Ruiz.
