Pedro Sanchez, President of Spain, has announced that masks will cease to be obligatory from June 26.
This changes the regulation under the Covid-19 protocol and must be ratified by a Royal Decree but does not require the approval of Congress.
It is almost certain that the requirement to wear masks in the exterior will be repealed, however, probably, only where social distancing is possible.
