The national court of Spain, the Audencia National, has issued a “precautionary decision” accepting an appeal by the regional government of Madrid and thus paralyzing the restrictions on nocturnal bars and clubs.
The decision is precautionary and, before issuing in final judgement, the court must hear representations from the Government.
However, the decision does mean the region of Murcia maintains permission for eating and drinking in nocturnal bars and clubs during a live show, as reported in Nexonr yesterday.
Meantime, national government has issued a statement saying they are going to try and reach a compromise agreement with all the autonomous regions for a national strategy on nightlife in Spain.
