Although many of the anti-Covid 19 restrictions and limitations will remain in place in the region when the State of Alarm ends on Sunday, however, travelling around and outside the Murcia region will be allowed.
The Covid 19 Monitoring Committee was in favour of maintaining the curfew from midnight to 6am but, without the State of Alarm in place, doubted its legality. However, a “hidden curfew” will exist as all non-essential activity, which includes bars and restaurants, will have to close at midnight.
The number of people from different household who can meet, in private or public, has been increased from four to six:
Events such as weddings, baptisms, funerals etc may have 100% capacity when outside and 50% capacity inside.
The President of Murcia has made it clear further relaxation of the restrictions is directly linked to the vaccination campaign. Once 60% of the population has been vaccinated further relaxation is expected.
He confirmed that almost all people over 60 years in the region had been vaccinated and that the Health Service will begin to send appointments to those aged 50 to 59 years this week.
