There has been a ninety percent increase in contagions for Covid-19 amongst young people aged between 20 and 29 in the region.
An increase of 30% amongst the 30 to 39 year old age group has also been recorded.
These increases have led to a call from the regional government and medical experts for people in these age groups to respect the restrictions imposed to limit contagions by the virus and “be responsible.”
There were no new cases of the virus diagnosed in Calasparra in the last 24 hours. There are currently eight active cases of the virus.
