The Mayoress of Calasparra has announced grants of between 4 and 500 euros for the self -employed (autónomos), local shops, bars and restaurants.
These direct grants aim to alleviate the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic and consist of 500 euros for self-employed or businesses with five or more employees and 400 euros for those with four or less employees.
There is a 40,000 pot for this line of grants, which brings the total funds for assisting those affected by the state of alarm and the closure of their business to 100,000 euros.
Applications for the funds can be made at the Casa de la Juventud ( Youth Centre) from today, Tuesday February 16, Call for an appointment on 968 745 162.
The qualifying conditions for the grants are on BASES www.calasparra.org or on the publicity board in the Town Hall.
