Some 684 women will be sent appointments for screening in the Mobile Breast Cancer Unit between February 11 to 19 in Calasparra.
Breast cancer screening, with regular self-examination, forms part of the programme for the early detection of breast cancer.
The Unit will be parked outside the Esperanza OAPs Residence.
Women aged between 45 and 49 years old are advised to pass by the Unit and ask for information.
As 115 women will be screened daily the Unit asks women to be punctual and, if in doubt, to pass by for information, particularly as this year changes to appointments will not be made by the local Medical Centre.
“In the case of any doubt at women should come to the Unit for information,” said a spokesperson.
Masks are obligatory as is compliance with all indications and precautions for the prevention of the spread of Covid-19.

Monday 15, 8.30am to 4.30pm
Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17, Thursday 18, 8.30am to 2.30pm
Friday 19, 9am to 1pm
