There was one case of Covid-19 diagnosed in the last 24 hours in Calasparra, where there are currently 85 active cases.
A new regulation is that only two people may meet in a public space unless they live together. This applies to enclosed and open air spaces.
The municipal perimeter remains closed as are bars and restaurants although a take away service is permitted.
Eight municipal areas in the Murcia region have registered 2,000 cases of the virus in the past two weeks. In these areas all non-essential shops and businesses must close by 6pm during the week and will remain closed at the weekend.
They are Yecla, Moratalla, Albudeite, Mula, Fortuna, Caravaca, Ricote and Jumilla.
Sixteen people have died from the virus in the region in the last 24 hours.
