The regional perimeter is closed and more than 20 towns are under lockdown with restrictions on those who may enter and leave. Here is a list of justifiable reason for crossing these perimeters.
The towns under lockdown are:Abanilla, Albudeite, Los Alcázares, Alguazas, Cartagena, Ceutí, Cieza, Fortuna, Jumilla, Lorca, Lorquí, Molina de Segura, Moratalla, Mula, Murcia, Ricote, San Pedro del Pinatar, Santomera, Las Torres de Cotillas, La Unión, Villanueva del Río Segura and Yecla.
Justifiable reasons are listed as:
a) To attend your doctor or a medical appointment at any health facility
b) To go to work or carry out professional, institutional or legal duties required by your job
c) Attend university as a pupil, teachers including infant school teachers
d) To return to your habitual or family residence
e) Assist and care for elderly people, minors, dependants or people with disabilities or who are particularly vulnerable
f) To go to Banks, insurance agents, petrol stations on municipal perimeters
g) Urgent actions required by public organs, judicial or by notaries
h) Renewal of official documentation and other urgent administrative matters
i) Taking exams and official tests which cannot be postponed
j) In an emergency or a situation of need
k) Justifiable trips to airports, train stations or buses to take or collect pasengers who undertake journeys for justifiable reason and are direct family or grandparents, grandparents by marriage, nephews or nieces of your partner or brother or sister in laws.
l) Travelling for any reason must be documented (ie, air tickets etc)
