There remain eight cases of Covid-19 active in Calasparra but there were no new cases diagnosed in the last 24 hours.
As of December 31 there are a total of 60,316 cases of the virus in the Murcia region, 206 of which were diagnosed in the last 24 hours.
Some 5,195 patients are in hospital with Covid-19, 188 more than the previous seven days, and 703 patients are in intensive care, 13 more than the previous week.
There have been 744 deaths from the virus and 21 of these have been in the past seven days.
Nationally statistics published yesterday show the total number of cases is 1,928,265 with 10,217 cases being diagnosed in the last 24 hours.
There have been 50,837 deaths from the virus, 622 of these have occurred in the last seven
days.
