Vulnerable people, as defined by Social Services, may not be evicted from their homes unless adequate alternative accommodation is supplied and electricity, and water supplies may not be cut off.
This prohibition lasts until the end of the state of alarm in the spring.
The scope of the term “vulnerable” has also been amplified.
If you feel you may belong to this group and are facing difficulties with your mortgage, rent and/or essential services you are advised to contact Social Services through the local Medical Centre to discuss your situation.
You will need to take an interpreter if you don´t speak Spanish.
